Our Leadership

Ian & Nola McKellar

McKellars

Ian and Nola McKellar lead the eldership team at Church of Joy. They have a desire to see the preaching of God’s Word bring transformation in personal lives and in society. Their vision is to do this by helping to build strong God-centred outward focused churches.

They also serve on the New Covenant Ministries International apostolic team. This trans-local team desires to strengthen local churches by helping to train leaders and help plant churches so that something of god’s Kingdom can come on earth in our day.

Ian and Nola led New Covenant Church Bryanston in Johannesburg, South Africa for a period of 12 years. They have lived in Singapore together with their 2 daughters for 7 years. They took over the leadership of church of Joy in 2009.

Ian has written 2 books. The “Violins of Change” looks at Servant Leadership, and “Now We Really Live” looks at Apostolic Ministry.

Eugene & Jenny Png

Pngs

Eugene and Jenny have been in the ministry since 1977, serving 10 years in a missions organisation and 6 years pastoring a Methodist church. They were led by the Lord, at the end of 1992, to start Church of Joy after entering into a historical and covenantal relationship with New Covenant Ministries International. In December 2008 they handed the lead eldership over to Ian and Nola McKellar but continue to serve in the eldership team with them.

Together with some friends, they also pioneered an organisation in 1990 to deal specifically with enriching family life and marriages. Their heart's goal is to see families saved into God's Kingdom and the sick/broken-hearted healed and restored with God's love and power.

Eugene & Jenny have 2 children: Reuben (29) who was born in Australia and now lives in Sydney and Ruth (21) who will be leaving some time later this year for studies in Sydney.
